We need people who have skills in governance, leadership, human resources management, accounting, web design, fundraising and more.We have a massive amount of policy to review, and rewrite, so strong communication and written skills are essential! Applicants must be able to devote 10 hours per week for the next several months as we establish a foundation for future success. The payoff will be a SPCA that is efficient, organized and healthy!

We heard at our AGM that change is required. We agree! Because we want to reach out to as many people as possible, our screening and election procedures will be slightly modified. We want to involve you! All applications are welcome. Applications will be screened, a shortlist will be compiled, and successful applicants will be asked to participate in an interview. Like any organization, we want to attract the very best talent the Medicine Hat region has to offer.

From there, a criminal record check will be required, applicants will be nominated, and voted upon at our next Board Meeting. Applications are available for download on our website and must be emailed, mailed or delivered to the SPCA along with cover letter.
