High Quality Services

The Medicine Hat SPCA offers a wide range of services to Medicine Hat and region providing protective care for sick, injured, homeless and unwanted animals and to promote humane attitudes and responsible pet ownership.

The Medicine Hat SPCA is a no-kill animal shelter - which means that we do not kill healthy or treatable animals even when the shelter is full, reserving humane euthanasia for terminally ill animals or those considered dangerous to public safety.

In consultation with Save Old Souls K9 Rescue, we have set up a new program for senior cats and dogs in our community.
